Rotary search command
The keyboards for DaVinci Resolve offer a better sensory experience when editing than a simple mouse. The search command features a mechanized metal design with a balanced weight that allows you to rotate quickly to move the head along the timeline. In addition, it provides the possibility of making instant cuts with great precision by pressing one of the keys for that purpose. Once you try this editing form, you don't want to do it any other way.

Reproduction controls
These controls greatly facilitate reproduction. It is possible to start it or stop it by pressing the space bar with the thumb. The keys to move forward and back change the function of the rotating search command, in order to edit more quickly.

Ribbon mode
In traditional editing programs, thousands of clips need to be arranged and they are carried to the timeline constantly to make changes. This does not provide the necessary speed to work on projects such as advertising, newsletters, promotions and tutorials. However, linear editing systems offered the advantage of being able to simply advance or reverse the tape to see the shots. In this sense, now the Montaje module has a function called "tape mode", which is the modern equivalent of a videotape. Just press the respective key and turn the search command to view all the images. In addition, the visualized clip stands out on the tray. This allows the next shot to move faster.

Brand editing points quickly
Marking editing points is the most frequently used function when editing. In this sense, the keys used for this purpose are large and can be easily located. This is ideal, as it allows to use the right hand for playback controls and the left to mark editing points with the help of the rotating search command. Then just extend your fingers to press the keys and edit the material. It should be noted that the input and output points can also be used in the tape mode. Also, pressing the Esc key, you see the contents of the entire tray.

Smart editing modes
