The incredible ZV-E10 images are the result of the large-size APS-C image sensor of the camera. Compared to the camera of a smartphone, the ZV-E10 image sensor is more than 10 times larger, allowing you to get attractive and professional-looking images with high-resolution and high level of detail. Automatic focus technology: Eye AF in real time, tracking
With Sony ZV-E10, you can focus on the most creative aspects of your videoblogs.
The camera's Eye AF function uses sophisticated detection algorithms to quickly and accurately recognize and follow the subject's eyes and keep them perfectly focused.
Direct recording even in outdoors
The ZV-E10 includes a paravent that allows you to record outdoors with no worries. The included paravent can be easily coupled to the multiple interface shoe (MI) to reduce noise when it makes wind.
Video 4K with oversample for more details
The 4K video recordings of the camera are performed by reading full pixels from the sensor, which allows to capture about 2.4 times the amount of data required for the 4K (equivalent to 6K). This oversample means that the engraved footage has more visual data condensed in each frame, which results in images with a great level of detail.
Bug protection during recording
The ZV-E10 tells you quickly if you're recording or not. The camera's frontal recording light is illuminated in red, and the LCD monitor displays a red frame to indicate you're recording.
Natural skin tones
The ZV-E10 has been designed to generate natural and healthy skin tones without additional editing. Thanks to the natural colors offered by the ZV-E10, the camera automatically adjusts the appearance of the skin.
Stable and fluid images even as you walk
The ZV-E10 will help you smooth and fix things when you move. The electronic image stabilization of the Active10 mode creates stable video footage with minimal vibration and blurry when recording without tripod, and is available even when activating the product presentation setting.
Optional control to speed up use with one hand
The GP-VPT2BT control with Bluetooth® (sold separately) allows remote control, easily and wirelessly, recording and zoom, and incorporates a customizable button. It allows to access the zoom and the recording with one hand, and the bokeh button has also been assigned by default to an easy access button that can be used with just touching it.
Edit videos on a smartphone
The recording made with the camera can be easily edited with the video editing plugin of the Imaging EdgeTM mobile app. The image stabilization function uses the camera's gyroscope data to smooth the video and compensate the camera's vibration. It also incorporates a smart frame function that uses camera data so that you can cut the video and change the aspect ratio by keeping the main subject in the frame.
Generates 4K HDR videos with realistic colors
The natural and realistic look colors of the 4K HDR videos can be achieved without resorting to postproduction or colour gradation thanks to the camera's compatibility with the 4K HDR video recording (high dynamic range) using the predefined HLG image profile.
Simple live transmission configuration
The ZV-E10 can be used as an online communications tool with a single cable using its large sensor and integrated microphone. To use the ZV-E10 as an external camera, connect it to a Sony XperiaTM PC or smartphone using a Type-C® USB cable. You can assign the USB transmission mode to a custom button to start transmitting quickly.
Improved image stabilization and editing functions
The integrated gyroscope records the vibration metadata of the camera to smooth and stabilize the recording without tripod in postproduction. Thanks to Catalyst Browse or Catalyst Prepare applications, you can adjust the compensation and cut automatically. Catalyst can also use the camera rotation data.
Designed to facilitate selfis and videoblogs
The ZV-E10, which only weighs 364 g, is prepared for the action whenever you want to record a videoblog. The variable angle LCD display with lateral opening facilitates the capture of selfis and the check of the frame even when you record from above or below. In addition, ergonomic control favors safe and stable attachment.
Quick and accurate automatic approach
Even moving subjects remain focused thanks to the ZV-E10 fast hybrid autofocus system. This wide coverage and density of autofocus points, with 425 point phase detection that covers 84 % of the sensor image, allow you to capture with precision subjects that otherwise would be difficult to focus.
Accurate focus transitions for clear product reviews
With just pressing a button, you can activate the ZV-E10 product presentation setting, ideal for review videos. If you have the setting enabled, every time you hold a product in front of the camera, the focus will automatically move to the object and refocus your face when you pull the frame product. This adjustment is available when setting the image stabilization as Activa.
Soft skin aspect
The ZV-E10 incorporates the soft skin effect to smooth the appearance of your skin. This function has been designed to soften the skin while keeping sharpness in the eye and mouth areas. You can choose between four levels (from "Deactivated" to "high") of the effect depending on your preferences.
Accelerates and slows movement easily
Slow and fast motion modes record videos up to 5 times slower or up to 60 times faster than in real time. You can record up to 50 Mbps with Full HD quality directly from the camera, so you don't need to edit anything on the PC. You can also record at high speed in Full HD at 120 fpsFN_1012 to create high-resolution slow motion sequences in postproduction.
Even greater sound quality
You won't have to worry about the interference caused by the wires. Link the ZV-E10 with any Sony microphone compatible with a digital audio interface by means of a MI shoe to achieve a clear, noiseless and totally digital audio. You can also connect your preferred microphone through the camera connector to enjoy an improved sound.
Vertical recording without complications
The videos recorded in vertical can be seen in the same way on a PC or on a smartphone thanks to the metadata recorded by the camera. It is not necessary to rotate the video manually, something that is very practical when sharing on social networks.
Add special effects from the camera
Change the colors to create different artistic effects. You just have to change the configuration of creative styles or choose between 715 visual effects using the image effect mode, without additional postproduction.
Adjust your transitions accurately when changing focus
By shifting the focus from one subject to another, you will enjoy accurate control over the transition speed of AF. The transition speed controls whether a rapid or a more gradual transition is made and has seven different levels.
