Filter Tiffen ND3.0 10 Stop ND is the definitive filter for landscape photographers. This filter reduces the amount of light passing through the camera lens in approximately 10 stops without changing the color of the scene. They are. especially useful in bright light conditions to help you prevent overexposition. Neutral density filters also allow proper exposure in a wider lens opening to reduce the depth of field to highlight a key subject blur the foreground and/or background.

Allows slower shutting speeds to produce effects blurry movement

Tiffen 4x4 filters should be used with a filter support. The filter support allows different filter types to be placed. f-stop reduction 1 The amount of light the filter does not allow to pass has a numbering that starts at 0.3 followed by ND letters (Neutral Density), each number corresponds to a number of steps or diaphragms that compensate. Filter 0.3 ND compensates for a diaphragm and continuous scale exponentially linearly. The most common are 0.3 ND, 0.6 ND and 0.9 ND that offset one, two and three steps or Diamonds respectively.
