BirdDog O4 is a professional PTZ camera specifically designed for demanding outdoor environments, combining image quality broadcast with extremely robust construction. Equipped with a CMOS sensor of 1/1.8", captures video in resolution 4K to 60 fps and offers an optical zoom of 30x (up to 60x in HD), allowing you to obtain detailed images even at large distances. Its IP66-certified aluminum housing is prepared to support extreme weather conditions, from temperatures of -40 °C to +60 °C, incorporating also an internal heating system that prevents the condensation and special coatings in the lens to maintain a clear vision under rain, snow or dust.

Considered for applications such as sports stadiums, urban infrastructures, outdoor events, transportation and perimeter security, the O4 integrates advanced tracking functions through artificial intelligence, capable of following subjects in a fluid and natural way without the need for a dedicated operator. It also offers exceptional connectivity thanks to the simultaneous compatibility with NDI® High Bandwidth and NDI®ATAHX3, as well as SRT, RTMP and RTSP protocols. Its 12G-SDI outputs, HDMI, SFP fiber optics and PoE+ feed facilitate their integration into virtually any modern audiovisual or broadcast infrastructure. The PTZ BirdDog XL Ultra PTZ, which equips a main lens with a 20x optical zoom and a 4/3 sensor and a second integrated panoramic camera with 100° opening and with a 1/1.8 CMOS Sony sensor. The XL Ultra offers two simultaneous 4K60 outputs through any of its many connection ports, which include BNC connectors with 12G and 3G-SDI support, HDMI, USB-C, high bandwidth NDI with SpeedHQ and SFP+ with 12G-SDI and standard SFP. The camera has an IA tracking engine and integrates an adaptive 1 GbE Ethernet port with PoE++ support (equipment via Ethernet). 5 years warranty.

The Maki (demo) control panel is a control surface designed for use alongside the Maki Studio software which, in turn, is compatible with cameras that integrate and transmit video through NDI-HX, SRT, or RTSP protocols. It is therefore a highly compact and versatile control and routing system, having been designed to integrate perfectly into video workflows on IP.

Its key features are:

Camera Control: allows precise control of movements (paneum, tilt), zoom and multi-camera PTZ approach.
High quality joystick: includes a 3-axis joystick that allows smooth and accurate movements, ideal for live productions.
NDI routing: one of its featured features is the 12 dedicated buttons that allow to route (assign) NDI sources to NDI destinations (such as monitors or mixers) directly from the panel.
Exposure controls: offers dedicated controls (dials or buttons) to adjust the iris, shutter (close speed), white balance and gain.
Multifunction buttons: has programmable buttons to call presets (guarded camera posts) and activate other functions.
Connectivity: connects and feeds via Ethernet (including PoE) and works natively with the NDI protocol, but it also supports other protocols such as VISCA.
Allows NDI/HX video output, and streaming broadcast using RTMP, RTMPS protocols, against multiple platforms or to Facebook Live or YouTube standard (up to three transmissions simultaneously)

In short, the BirdDog Maki is an all-in-one controller powered by the Maki Studio software, and designed for operators who need to handle several cameras in a live, fast and tactile production environment.
