El panel de control del Canon RC-IP300 es una interfaz híbrida que combina una pantalla táctil central con un conjunto de controles físicos dedicados, optimizados para la operación con cámaras de gama PTZ de este fabricante o compatible con el protocolo XC. El núcleo del sistema es un panel LCD táctil de 3,5 pulgadas (1280 × 720) capaz de mostrar hasta nueve señales de vídeo en tiempo real mediante configuraciones de vista múltiple (2×2 o 3×3), lo que permite la selección directa de la cámara y la activación de funciones como el autofoco táctil o la selección de sujetos para el seguimiento automático. El panel también soporta el uso combinado con el panel ElGato Stream Deck.

En paralelo, el panel incluye un joystick PTZ, un balancín de zoom, diales dedicados (iris, enfoque, velocidad) y un conjunto de hasta 12 botones asignables, junto con controles de función y navegación direccional. Esta disposición permite separar claramente las tareas de encuadre, ajuste óptico y gestión de preajustes (presets) o trayectorias (trace), facilitando los flujos de trabajo simultáneos en producciones en vivo.
